Poste proposé : Head Cashier - Yaounde
We are looking for a Head Cashier.
Job Purpose
- Manage cash receipts and authorised payments, safeguard funds and maintain accurate daily cash records.
Main Responsibilities
- Open and close the main cash desk and receive customer payments.
- Check payment amounts, banknote authenticity and supporting documents before authorised disbursements.
- Record all transactions accurately in the cash management system and maintain the cash journal.
- Supervise secondary cash desks, allocate authorised cash floats and consolidate cash returns.
- Count and reconcile cash daily and immediately report shortages, surpluses or other irregularities.
- Safeguard funds, respect cash holding limits and prepare bank deposits.
- Submit daily cash statements and supporting documents to Accounting, archive records and participate in cash checks.
Profil recherché pour le poste : Head Cashier - Yaounde
- A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3–4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong communication and comprehension skills.
- Proactive, reliable, organised, and professionally presentable.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and handle confidential financial information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant cash-management or accounting software.
