JOB ADVERT : IT Manager
Overview
Manage IT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure and efficient services across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define IT priorities, plan investments and manage the IT budget.
- Manage networks, servers, databases, hardware and software across sites.
- Ensure system availability through maintenance, updates, backups and recovery arrangements.
- Protect systems and data, monitor security risks and implement corrective measures.
- Lead IT projects, including application development, ERP deployments and system migrations.
- Supervise the IT team, organise user support and resolve major incidents.
- Assess departmental needs and recommend digital tools that improve operations.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and comprehension skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience or a background in the education sector.
Qualifications
- Min Bachelor's degree in IT and other related field.
- Min 5-6 years of experience in IT and other similar roles.
