SAASA B2E is looking for a Purchasing Manager
Job summary
Guarantee the timely availability of goods and services while managing costs, quality standards and procurement-related risks.
Key responsibilities

Determine purchasing requirements and organise procurement activities with the relevant departments;

Search for and assess suppliers, review quotations and negotiate prices, contracts and delivery conditions;

Prepare and monitor purchase orders in the ERP system, while tracking deliveries and returns;

Coordinate stock control and inventory checks to avoid shortages and surplus inventory;
-
Oversee purchasing budgets, expenses and supplier invoice payments in collaboration with the Finance team;
-
Lead the purchasing team and ensure adherence to internal procurement procedures;
-
Evaluate supplier performance, manage supply-chain risks and report on costs and procurement outcomes.
Qualifications
-
At least 3 to 4 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or a related field;

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or a comparable discipline.

Excellent communication and comprehension skills;

Strong willingness to work, with a proactive approach;

Ability to learn quickly and adjust to new duties and working methods;

Previous experience or a background in the education sector;

Good command of Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools.
