Job Offer Location: Douala DISTRIBUTION MANAGER (M/W) Logistic Direction

MISSIONS: The incumbent has full responsibility for implementing Primary distribution programs to ensure optimal product availability in all depots, stock points or agents; He/She has the responsibility of supplying the distribution operational statistical data and ensure stocking reports are shared with relevant individuals.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Ensure product availability at the right place and time and in required quantities in all UCBCs and empties availability at the plant;

• Minimize distribution running costs through accurate planning and fleet mix;

• Maximize fleet capacity utilization;

• Ensure correct and accurate distribution data is compiled, i.e. statistics and reports on availability;

• Develop and implements distribution programs and plans (Fleet utilization);

• Ensure optimal product availability within all centers;

• Ensures good GMP (housekeeping) on all vehicles in accordance good quality practices;

• Staff management and development;

• Attends departmental, inter sectional liaison meetings;

• Effective utilization of the distribution vehicle fleet.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

• Business Studies Degree/Advanced Diploma in Transport Management and Logistics;

• 3 years’ experience in Distribution Operations at supervisory level;

• Good interpersonal and communication skills;

• Should possess extensive knowledge of the entire distribution network;

• An analytical and inquiring mind is required;

• Good leadership and supervisory skills;

• Basic computer knowledge;

• Effectiveness in performance management;

• Fleet planning, routing and scheduling skills.
