Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Data Analyst to support the organization’s reporting, analytics, data architecture, and data integration needs.
The successful candidate will analyze data, develop dashboards and reports, improve data quality, and help define how organizational data is structured, stored, integrated, and documented.
The role will also support data integration within the organization’s Salesforce ecosystem, helping determine how data should flow between Salesforce and other systems. Prior Salesforce experience is not required, but the candidate should be comfortable with databases, APIs, data models, and system integration concepts.
Time Commitment
Part-time role, typically 20 hours per week, with flexibility based on project deadlines and team needs.
Key Responsibilities

    Analyze data from multiple sources and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar tools.
    Define and monitor key performance indicators across organizational programs and operations.
    Support the design of data models, databases, data warehouses, and other centralized data repositories.
    Recommend appropriate approaches for storing, organizing, and managing organizational data.
    Analyze data flows between Salesforce and other systems and recommend suitable integration solutions.
    Support integrations using APIs, ETL/ELT processes, automation tools, middleware, or similar technologies.
    Identify data duplication, inconsistencies, and integration gaps and recommend improvements.
    Clean, transform, validate, and prepare data from multiple systems.
    Promote data quality, consistency, governance, security, and appropriate data access.
    Maintain documentation for data sources, data models, schemas, data flows, and reporting processes.
    Work with technical and non-technical teams to understand data needs and translate them into practical solutions.
    Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    Strong experience with Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar business intelligence tools.
    Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
    Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
    Understanding of data modeling, database design, and data architecture principles.
    Experience with data cleaning, transformation, validation, and integration.
    Understanding of APIs, ETL/ELT processes, system integrations, and data pipelines.
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    Understanding of data quality, governance, privacy, and security principles.
    Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Professional-level English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

    Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, or centralized reporting databases.
    Experience integrating CRM systems, databases, and business intelligence platforms.
    Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, or similar tools.
    Familiarity with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Zapier, Make, Workato, or similar tools.
    Familiarity with Salesforce data structures or APIs is an advantage, but Salesforce experience is not required.
    Experience with Python, R, or another data-focused programming language is a plus.
    Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, education, or other mission-driven organizations is a plus.
