The National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon (NECC) is the Head Quarter of the Catholic Church in Cameroon, where the promotion of human dignity is at the center of the concerns of the Sustainable Development Goals. TERMS OF REFERENCE
Posifion Summary
Under the supervision of the National Communication Coordinator, the Digital Communications Officer is responsible for strengthening CENC's digital presence, creating and disseminating multimedia content, and growing its online audience. He/She also contributes to identifying solutions to ensure the financial sustainability of the Digital and Online Office.
Job Summary
Develop and implement the CENC digital communication strategy ,
Manage and maintain the organization's website ;
Produce, coordinate the approval, and disseminate digital content, including articles, videos, podcasts, visuals, and social media posts ;
Manage and engage online communities across Facebook, YouTube, Instagrarnt X, TikTok, and other relevant platforms ;
Propose and implement digital campaigns around the Holy Father's messages, World Days of the Church, and ecclesial events ;
Contribute to the production of the Catholic Chronicle and other CENC digital productions ;
Contribute to the development of partnerships and initiatives that support the financial sustainability of the Digital and Digital Communications Office ; Optimize website and social media content to improve the organization's online visibility and reach ;
Monitor and analyze the performance of the various digital channels ; Prepare regular reports on the results and impact of digital communication activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS end Experience
Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Bac+2) in Digital Communication, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Multimedia, or a related field ;
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role involving digital communication, web content management, and social media management ; Good knowledge of social media platforms and content management fools ;
Very good knowledge of computer and digital tools ;
Additional training or certification in communication, digital content creation, or social media management is an advantage;
Professional experience in institutional or ecclesial communication is an advantage.
Good knowledge of journalistic writing and web writing;
Good knowledge of reporting, interviewing, photography, and video production techniques;
Good knowledge of Al-assisted or conventional video and audio editing tools; Good knowledge of Al-assisted or conventional graphic design and content creation tools;
Good knowledge of social media platforms and their distribution mechanisms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, and TikTok;
