Good Neighbors Cameroon, as part of the implementation of the KIA Project, is recruiting two (02) drivers to transport and deliver produce from project beneficiary farmers.
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the logistic staff, the Driver will be responsible for the following:
1. Transporting farmers' harvests from the fields to designated stores/storage points;
2. Transporting produce from stores/storage points to markets or other authorized destinations;
3. Driving the KIA double-cab pickup truck in compliance with road safety regulations;
4. Ensuring the safety of personnel, transported goods, and the vehicle;
5. Performing daily basic vehicle checks, including oil, water, fuel, tire, brake, and light levels;
6. Immediately reporting any vehicle malfunctions, anomalies, or maintenance needs;
7. Maintaining accurate vehicle logs and travel/transport records;
8. Adhering to routes and instructions given by the Project Manager;
9. Ensuring the proper loading and unloading of transported goods;
10. Keep the vehicle clean and in good working order;
11. Strictly adhere to the Highway Code and Good Neighbors Cameroon's safety rules;
12. Perform any other transportation and logistics tasks assigned to them for the project.
Qualifications and Experience
The candidate must:
• Hold a valid Category B driving licence;
• Have at least five (05) years of professional experience driving similar vehicles and/or transporting goods;
• Experience driving pickup trucks, particularly double-cab vehicles, is an asset;
• Have good knowledge of the roads and rural tracks in Akoeman Subdivision and its surrounding areas;
• Be able to work according to a flexible schedule based on the project's collection and transportation needs;
• Be available during the harvesting and transportation periods planned by the project.

• Ability to work effectively with farmers and project teams;
• Respect for the organization’s equipment and property;
• Good knowledge of the local area;
• Integrity and professionalism.
Working Conditions
The vehicles will remain at the Good Neighbors office in Mbalmayo.
The Driver will be mobilised according to the project's needs and the schedule of produce collection and transportation activities.
Remuneration and other working conditions will be specified in the employment contract/engagement agreement in accordance with Good Neighbors Cameroon policies and applicable Cameroonian regulations.
