The Opportunity

As a Program Intern, you will play a key role in the success of the IRISH Aid project. You will support the team in executing strategic tasks, finalizing high-quality reporting, and delivering key project outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute meaningfully to our mission in the region. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience, develop your expertise in program management, and see the direct results of your contributions.

What You Will Do:

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Assist in planning and executing field activities and distributions.
• Participate in regular project review meetings and technical sessions.

2.  Operations & Supply Chain Support

• Monitor incoming project items, draft distribution plans, and assist in physical distributions.
• Organize, file, and track Purchase Order (P.O.) documentation.

3. Administration, Finance & Reporting

• Facilitate cross-departmental follow-up with Administration and Finance.
• Support other related project tasks as required.

The Individual

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate who meets the following criteria:

1. Education & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Project Management, Education, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar position or within an international NGO is a strong asset.

2. Skills & Competencies:

• Core Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid team spirit.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office) and general office equipment (photocopiers, printers, scanners).
• Languages: Working proficiency in English and/or French.

3. Personal Qualities & Adaptability:

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in volatile or security-sensitive environments.
