Job Purpose
The Primary Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment where students develop their academic, social, emotional and personal skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
Teach core subjects and develop students’ literacy, numeracy, communication and critical-thinking skills.
Prepare teaching resources, classroom activities and assessments.
Monitor, assess and record students’ academic progress.
Provide differentiated learning and additional support where required.
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage students’ participation, creativity, independence and confidence.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and development.
Identify and report any concerns regarding students’ wellbeing or safeguarding.
Maintain accurate attendance, assessment and student records.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ overall development.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and school projects.
Ensure compliance with Child Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Code of Conduct and other school policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Primary Education or a relevant field.
Recognised teaching qualification/certification is an advantage or required where applicable.
Previous experience teaching at primary level.
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction according to students’ needs.
Good digital literacy and ability to integrate technology into teaching.
