Job Purpose
The Physics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Physics instruction, developing students’ scientific knowledge and practical skills, and supporting their academic and personal development in line with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons appropriate to students’ levels and abilities.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, practical activities and assessments.
Teach Physics concepts clearly using appropriate teaching methodologies and practical demonstrations.
Conduct laboratory experiments while ensuring appropriate health and safety procedures are followed.
Assess students’ learning, provide constructive feedback and track academic progress.
Identify students who require additional support and implement appropriate interventions.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments and student progress.
Participate in departmental meetings, staff meetings and school activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and learning.
Maintain a positive, inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
Contribute to extracurricular activities and other school initiatives when required.
Follow the school’s policies, including Child Safeguarding, Code of Conduct, Health & Safety and Internal Regulations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physics, Science Education .
Relevant teaching qualification/certification is an advantage or required where applicable.
Previous teaching experience, preferably at secondary-school level.
Good knowledge of Physics curriculum and assessment methods.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to use digital tools to support teaching and learning.
