JOB SUMMARY
A Procurement Manager sources and purchases necessary goods and services for a company, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery while developing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance, require strong analytical, forecasting, and communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making
DUTIES:
Developing and implementing implement strategies for sourcing and purchasing to meet cost- saving and performance targets.
• Sourcing and Purchasing Identify and source high-quality products and services at competitive prices to support company operations.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and reliable delivery.
Negotiate and agree upon contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best value and advantageous terms.
Leading cross-functional teams: Collaborating with sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment and achieve consensus on plans.
Analyzing market trends and demand patterns: Monitoring and interpreting data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage and monitor the flow of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and addressing potential obstacles.
Ensure that the procured goods and services meet quality standards and perform value-for-money reviews of existing contracts.
Manage and motivate a team of procurement staff, delegating tasks and supervising the procurement department.
Conduct market research to assess conditions and forecast price trends.
Analyze procurement data, produce reports and statistics on spending and savings, and present findings to management.
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Streamline procurement processes and implement automation to improve efficiency and save time and money.
• Monitoring and reporting on performance: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on the effectiveness of the S&OP process.
• Identifying areas for process improvement: Continuously seeking ways to enhance the S&OP process and its outcomes.
• Leading the overall purchase process and team.
Demand Planner: Focusing specifically on forecasting and demand management. S&OP Analyst: Providing analytical support to the S&OP process.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve complex problems.
 To understand budgets, cost structures, and financial metrics related to procurement.
Forecasting and demand planning expertise: Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles: Understanding the end-to-end supply chain and its key processes.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools: Experience with S&OP, forecasting tools, and data analysis platforms.
INDUSTRIAL KNOWLEDGE:
Prior experience in purchase planning or a related role is often required. With manufacturing FMCG sector.
Expert handhold on Microsoft especially Excel.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Good understanding on Global Terms of Trade.
Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
Adherence to timeline for set goals
PROFILE :
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain function and development of process.
A good understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management systems, and production planning and supply chain principles.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
English is must
