Striving For All is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the organization’s marketing, communications, branding, and public engagement efforts. The successful candidate will develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that increase awareness of SFA’s mission, strengthen stakeholder engagement, support fundraising and partnerships, and promote the organization’s programs and impact.
The Marketing & Communications Manager will oversee digital marketing, website content, social media, storytelling, media relations, and organizational communications while collaborating closely with program, technology, and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and implement SFA’s annual marketing and communications strategy.
- Strengthen and protect the organization’s brand identity across all platforms and materials.
- Plan and manage marketing campaigns supporting programs, fundraising initiatives, partnerships, recruitment, and organizational events.
- Identify target audiences and recommend effective communication strategies.
Digital Marketing & Communications
- Manage and grow SFA’s digital presence across the website, social media, email marketing, and other communication channels.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other platforms.
- Coordinate website content updates with the web development team and ensure content remains accurate, engaging, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
- Develop newsletters, articles, success stories, press releases, blogs, and organizational announcements.
- Support email marketing campaigns and audience engagement initiatives.
Content Development
- Lead the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, reports, videos, flyers, and promotional resources.
- Coordinate the collection of photos, videos, testimonials, and impact stories from programs and events.
- Ensure all communication materials reflect SFA’s brand standards and messaging.
Public Relations & Partnerships
- Build relationships with media outlets, partners, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
- Coordinate media coverage and public relations activities.
- Support fundraising campaigns, donor communications, sponsorship initiatives, and partnership development through compelling marketing materials.
Analytics & Performance
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, campaign performance, social media engagement, and marketing metrics.
- Prepare regular performance reports and recommend improvements based on data and audience insights.
- Stay informed about emerging marketing trends, AI tools, and best practices to improve organizational visibility and engagement.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is an asset.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, brand management, or digital marketing.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience working in the nonprofit, education, or international development sector is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and content strategy.
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns.
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, email marketing, and marketing performance reporting.
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Experience using AI-powered marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, or similar) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Working Conditions
- Full-time, onsite position based in Douala, Cameroon.
- Occasional travel within Cameroon for programs, events, and partner engagements.
