Petites annonces / classified ads Terms of Reference for Organisational Capacity Assessment of LNGOs/CBOs in the South West and North West regions INTERSOS is a humanitarian organization on the front-line of emergencies, bringing assistance to victims of armed conflicts, natural disasters and extreme exclusion with particular attention to the protection of the most vulnerable people. Since 1992, our humanitarian workers have been helping people affected by humanitarian crises: we provide first aid, food, shelter, medical assistance and basic goods. We ensure that basic needs, as education, access to clean water and health assistance, are met. Since the beginning of 2015, INTERSOS has been working in Cameroon to help the displaced people and refugees in the North and in the North West and South West regions of the country. Background The humanitarian situation, particularly protection problems in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon, continue to be of grave concern. Like international NGOs, local actors, especially local NGOs and civil society organizations are mobilized to respond to the needs of the populations affected by the crisis. However, their organizational capacities to adequately implement humanitarian aid projects are limited. In order to have a clearer picture of the capacities of local NGOs, INTERSOS, with support from UNHCR, is planning to carry out an assessment of 17 organisations in the NW and SW. Purpose, Objectives and Expected Outputs The purpose of this exercise it to analyse the LNGOs/CBOs capacities and needs to determine priorities for support to improve operations and performance. The objectives are to: Provide a general overview of organizational capacity through a participatory process.
