JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking experienced translators, consultants and interns in English to French and French to English translators plus a third foreign language. The knowledge of a third language (German, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Italian, etc) is obligatory. MISSIONS Translate varied documents (letters, memos, economic and financial reports, audit reports, project evaluation documents, legal documents, planning and programming documents, etc). Translate documents from various specialized fields (administration, literature, science, justice, technical, business, medicine, etc) Translate documents with a high level of accuracy, maintaining the idea, form and content of the source text Provide accurate translations within stated deadlines Edit and proofread already translated documents Should be well grounded in terminology and be able to adapt these to the client's needs Respond to clients worries related to the job at hand Carry out other tasks as the need arises Transcription of Voice overs as well as other video and audio files Writing of reports, drawing up of contracts and brochures, etc PROFILE OF INTERPRETER/TRANSCRIPTOR Should hold an M.A in Translation or any other equivalent certificate or other qualifications in any discipline with writing and digital skills will be an added advantage Dispose of 5 years of professional experience in translation with verifiable references Should be well grounded in general knowledge Should have the ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic, international and multicultural environment Should be able to work with a team on various demanding projects Perfect mastery of the working languages Should have the ability to work under pressure and individually Have a good mastery of the MS Word package Should be able to work with modern translation software (Trados, Wordfast, etc) Must be trustworthy and be able to maintain confidentiality To …
