JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking an interpreter /transcriptor with perfect English and French skills and any of these other languages: German, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Hindu, Arabic, Italian, etc. MISSIONS Interpret during meetings of JMJ ACADEMY collaborators and clients or transcribe the outcome of meetings in English, French and/or any of these other languages: German, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Hindu, Arabic, Italian, etc. Provide interpretation during meetings of JMJ ACADEMY collaborators and clients in respecting strictly the confidentiality of items discussed Show proof of high level of discretion in all sessions covered Be ready to carry out other functions as the need may arise Should be competent in carrying out simultaneous, consecutive, and liaison interpretation PROFILE OF INTERPRETER/TRANSCRIPTOR Be a holder of an M.A in Interpretation or any other equivalent certificate Have a perfect master of English and French and/or any other third language Should have ample knowledge of interpretation techniques Dispose of experience in conference and simultaneous interpretation Should be able to express yourself both orally and on paper Have the ability to listen, understand and reproduce the same content Should have high level of concentration and the ability to constantly work under pressure Should have enough knowledge on the different domains in which JMJ ACADEMY operates Should be able to manage stress levels Know how to use interpretation equipment To apply for this post, send your CV plus Motivation Letter to recrutement@jmjafrica.com before May 31, 2020 The subject of the email should include the position and language combination.
