PSI Cameroon and ACMS work daily to provide consumers with access to cost-effective health services and products to improve their health sustainably and measurably. With funding from the US President's Malaria Initiative, ACMS works with Impact Malaria and VectorLink to build local capacity through provider training, ultimately improving malaria case management and prevention. ACMS also works through VectorLink to provide technical assistance for distributing insecticide-treated nets through routine channels in coordinating the National Program for Malaria Control. PSI is seeking a Chief of Party (COP) for the anticipated five-year USAID-funded Cameroon President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) Bilateral Project. The Project will support the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) in implementing activities to reduce malaria morbidity and maternal and child mortality. The Project seeks to improve access to timely, quality, and well-documented malaria testing and treatment by providing community health workers with training and supervision to provide quality, effective care. The COP will lead successful implementation throughout the project lifecycle from start-up to close-out. Accountable for delivery of all aspects of the projects, including technical implementation, financial and administrative compliance, and oversight and supervision of project staff. Oversee project team to ensure that country-level implementation is provided with a high standard of excellence, achieving its set goals and targets and within budget. Provide high-level technical thought leadership and managerial capacity to manage risk, monitor finances strategically, and ensure each phase of work is started or completed on time.
