As such the brand new AI team we are building at Veed will be responsible for researching and developing features building upon these technologies. This is a new space for us too and our initial focus will be on the integration of existing systems rather than building our own AI models. However, this may change over time as the team grows. We are looking for someone who can bring plenty to the table, and grow the product. To get you started, we have some ideas as well!This team is growing out of our Rendering team and currently has one dedicated senior engineer, with a short-term plan to grow to 3 engineers.Of course, you will also have plenty of support from other teams, whether it is cloud infrastructure, rendering, frontend or backend, because we know that developing such features can sometimes touch the whole stack. You will have the opportunity to influence how these features are built and also to grow the team.What You'll DoAs a Staff Software engineer you will act as an engineering multiplier for the entire division you will serve. You will be a Group Engineering Manager's technical partner and the ultimate responsible person when it comes to the technical work being carried out by a division. The Staff Engineer for AI will have a strong emphasis on cross-team collaboration, setting technical direction, coaching and supporting teams across Veed to integrate AI tools.You will be responsible for the technical output of your teams both in terms of code quality as well as creating monitoring, handling and resolving alerts.
