Job Overview As a Deputy Project Manager based in Garoua, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Country Manager. Your responsibilities will include managing local staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with iA’s community-based sustainability model, overseeing project activities, conducting community trainings, and maintaining regular communication with communities. Additionally, you'll facilitate collaboration with partners, manage office operations, and engage with local and international stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the Country Manager to oversee local team and contractors, ensuring compliance with iA policies. Assist in project planning, budgeting, and execution, including managing project deliverables and action plans. Submit weekly activity reports and regular financial reports to the Country Director in Israel. Implement iA’s community-based sustainability model, conducting community meetings, trainings, and sensitization. Monitor project activities, expenses, and work with contractors, ensuring efficient project completion. Coordinate with cooperating partners and local contractors, ensuring smooth project implementation. Participate in beneficiary selection processes and track the progress of ongoing field activities. Assist in office operations, including liaising with suppliers, organizing community trainings, and responding to community queries. Establish and manage relationships with local government, NGOs, and other stakeholders. Coordinate visits from the international team, donors, and guests.
