It provides services in Research,Evaluation & Learning; Data, Analytics & Information Systems; and Social & Behavior ChangeStrategies. Its practice areas include Health and Health Systems, Nutrition and Food Security,and Agriculture and Livelihoods. We have a USAID-funded project office in Niamey, Niger, anda Data Unit satellite office in Parakou, Benin (www.evihdaf.com).We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate to fill the position of Communicationsand Translation Officer. A critical member of our communications team, she/he will haveprimary responsibility for the translation of documents and will work under the supervision ofthe Communications and Knowledge Management Officer. The position is based in Yaoundé,Cameroon and requires flexibility and strong organizational skills.Responsibilities Translate administrative, communications and project documents (FR - ENG & ENG - FR). Support the development and posting of content to platforms including, but not limited toour website and social media accounts. Support the production of various communications materials (banners, printeddocuments, posters, etc.). Write and edit documents and other communication tools as necessary. Facilitate project-specific or cross-project knowledge management and sharing. Support the organization of training sessions and workshops for Communications orproject activities. Learn about new ideas in communications and where appropriate implement "bestpractices" gleaned from other projects and activities. Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in communications, translations, or related field, or equivalent.• Minimum 3 years of relevant communications or/and translations experience required,preferably related to global health in low- and middle- income countries.Vacancy – Communications and Translation Officer2• Familiarity with the field of global health (family planning and reproductive health, nutritionand food security, malaria, …) …
