VACANCY : Finance and Administration Manager- Cameroon Country Program Background: For effective implementation of AWF Conservation Programs and delivering impact, AWF has adopted a prioritization and Investment approach in its Strategy. This approach entails setting up effective leadership and management teams in the focal countries. As a focal country, Cameroon (Yaoundé Office) is already overseeing three in-country landscapes with adequate funding and human resources. AWF seeks to build a core Cameroon country team with country specific responsibilities in the areas of programs, fundraising, policy, partner relations, financial management and ensuring implementation of AWF country strategy for Cameroon. Position Summary: The Finance and Administration Manager provides financial management, accounting, compliance and general administrative support required for the successful implementation of Cameroon country programs. This includes collaborating on funding proposals, coordinating the development of budgets and forecasts, tracking and analyzing revenue and expenditures for the Cameroon country program. He/ She will support the Cameroon Country Director in all aspects of Finance and Administration, provide oversight and leadership to the Cameroon field finance and Administration staff in three in Dja, Campo Ma’an and Faro as well as in tracking implementation of program activities. The Finance and Administration Manager will ensure adherence to donor regulations, AWF policies and procedures, and best practices as dictated by various statutes including Cameroon country regulations. This position requires high-level discretion, the ability to demonstrate good judgment, the ability to assess issues, to advise on best practices, make autonomous decisions, respond to complex questions, and know when to escalate issues. A strong sense of customer service is essential. The duties of the Finance and Administration Manager may expand to support additional aspects of global programs, as requested.
